As the Chamber's 50th anniversary nears we reflect on half a century of serving the business community and promoting an environment for business growth. As we move forward, we will continue to be one of Central New Jersey,s premiere business organizations and strive to be one of the finest Chambers of Commerce in the United States. With summer approaching, our thoughts turn to leisure and as you already may know, the Princeton region is a major tourist attraction with approximately 500,000 visitors each year. Please visit the newly updated Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Convention and Visitor's Bureau website at www.visitprinceton.org designed to better serve the Princeton community and our visitors. Throughout the summer months, your Chamber will continue to provide timely programs and events of interest to our members. We sincerely hope you will take the time to participate. We are honored to welcome Professor Freeman Dyson as the June 5 Monthly Membership Luncheon guest speaker. Professor Dyson will address important areas of his research including the effects of climate change. For those who do not play golf or tennis, you may still join the festivities at the end of the day on June 9 at the beautiful Greenacres Country Club, by signing up for the cocktail hour and dinner. Ed Tseng, Founder of Tseng Peak Performance will join us on June 18 for the Business Before Business Breakfast meeting. Ed will give an enthusiastic and inspiring presentation about winning in life, business, sales or whatever you do. Take the time to join your fellow Chamber members at the Nassau Club on June 18 for a cup of coffee and to start your day on a positive note. On June 24 the Chamber and the Arts Council of Princeton will jointly host the Business After Business Networking event at the new Arts Council Building designed by well-known architect, Michael Graves. We hope you will join us as we congratulate the Arts Council and wish them success in their new home. In addition, please call the Chamber office to find out about the wide variety of economically priced marketing and advertising opportunities offered exclusively to our members. Finally, if you are not a Chamber member we invite you to join us. We hope to see you soon at one of our events. If you are in Princeton Borough, please feel free to stop by the Chamber office at 9 Vandeventer Avenue to say "hello" and pick up some of the great literature we have about the Chamber, its activities and visiting the Princeton region! Sincerely, Lawrence H. Krampf Chairman of the Board
